Cabin Crew Experience Day | Fundraiser Event

Join SkyPeople Training for a day of Cabin Crew training at our state-of-the-art Manchester training academy for a special experience day on Saturday 24th May. Our experts instructors will put you through your paces as we lead you through a day of safety and emergency procedures. With hands on practice with our aircraft door trainers, entering our smoke filled cabin, and battling flames in our fire rig, we’ll show you the side of Cabin Crew life which is fortunately so rarely seen, before finishing the day sending you down our emergency slides. 

This special day is to raise money as we help to send Eagley band to the National Brass Band Championship Finals in Cheltenham this September. Trumpeted with success after their performance at the North West Areas Regional Brass Band Championships, we’re stepping in to help them on their way to what we hope will be a victorious performance.

Our Cabin Crew Experience Day will start at 10am and finish at 3pm and will include:

• ·        Safety and Emergency Procedures Theory
• ·        Hand on experience with our aircraft door trainers
• ·        Fire and Smoke Theory
• ·        Smoke Filled Cabin
• ·        Emergency Evacuations
• ·        Fire Fighting
• ·        Emergency Slide Descent.

Whilst there is no upper age limit to take part, participants must be a minimum of 14 years old. All participants must be in good health to take part in the practical training and flat shoes/trainers must be worn in our training hall.
